Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring safety of the facilities within their assigned pod by providing pool surveillance and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards are also responsible for checking and balancing chemicals, enforcing facility pool rules, completing appropriate documentation and cleaning the facility, including restrooms. Lifeguards provide exceptional customer service by addressing patron needs in a polite, respectful and friendly manner. Lifeguards are required to hold valid certifications for Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Lifeguards must be at least 15 years old.
Pool Attendants are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment at the facilities within the assigned pod by monitoring patron entry, checking and balancing chemicals, enforcing facility pool rules, completing appropriate documentation and cleaning the facility, including restrooms. Attendants will provide exceptional customer service by addressing patron needs in a polite, respectful and friendly manner. CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification is preferred.
Shift Supervisors fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard as well as serve as shift leader in the pool manager’s absence. Shift Supervisors should monitor employee performance and ensure all operational requirements are being met by the team. Must be at least 16 years old and pass a skills test to be considered.
Pool Managers fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard or pool attendant (dependent upon which is staffed at the facility) and provide the appropriate oversight and leadership to ensure AquaTech & client expectations are met. Managers are responsible for supervising and providing ongoing facility training for employees, effectively communicating facility and staff needs with AquaTech leadership, ensuring pool chemistry remains within optimal range, verifying pool equipment is in good condition, and confirming appropriate documentation and daily reports are completed. Must be at least 16 years old and pass a skills test to be considered.
Pool Service Technician
Pool Service Technicians are responsible for cleaning and maintaining about 10-12 unstaffed pool facilities daily. Duties include checking and balancing chemicals, vacuuming and cleaning the pool, completing daily duties reports, ensuring pool equipment is in good repair, and performing minor pool repairs. Service Technicians must be at least 18 years old and meet eligibility requirements to operate a company vehicle, including having a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
Snack Bar Attendants [limited facilities only]
Snack Bar Attendants are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and friendly snack bar experience for members and guests. Snack bar attendants will be responsible for assisting patrons with the highest standard of customer service, utilizing the digital point of sales system, fulfilling orders including light food preparation methods and handling payments responsibly. Attendants will also maintain a food-safe environment by ensuring the facility always meet standards for cleanliness. Snack bar attendants must be at least 15 years old.
Pool openers will be responsible for assisting the Regional Directors of Operation (RDO) during inspection season from mid February through May. POs will need to understand general operating procedures at each of their 3-4 assigned facilities, and are responsible for checking and balancing chemicals, vacuuming pools, helping with facility maintenance, to ensure the facility will pass county inspections. Scheduling is flexible, around 20 hours per week is required.
Regional Personnel Manager (RPM)
RPMs oversee the employee experience, including recruitment and hiring efforts, training, scheduling, recognition programs, staff evaluations & surveys, etc.
Regional Directors of Operation (RDO)
RDOs are responsible for overseeing an entire region of facilities. Regional managers are the primary contact for facility ownership or management groups and are therefore responsible for ensuring the customer’s requirements are fulfilled. Regional directors oversee area managers and pool managers to ensure all staff members are meeting AquaTech’s standards of performance.
AquaTech is now offering internships for employees looking to gain applicable professional experience. Each will include a description of success factors, biweekly performance evaluations with supervisors and a final project & presentation.
An AquaTech social media intern will primarily be responsible for increasing company visibility through the use of varying social media platforms.
Duties will include:
- Learning and understanding AquaTech’s brand, customers, employees and product goals
- Creating relevant content & manage the social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Using social media platforms to promote company name and product
- Leveraging social media platforms to engage and attract employees
- Analyzing social media performance and provide insights for future projects
- Pursuing degree in marketing, business, public relations, communications or other related fields
- Knowledgeable in the use and functions of various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Canva, etc.)

Swim Lesson Coordinator
The swim lesson coordinator will be responsible for managing AquaTech Swim School. receiving bookings and scheduling swim lessons. You will coordinate with regional personnel managers in order to schedule and staff lessons. This position is also responsible for the rescheduling/cancellation of lessons as well as fielding questions, comments, and concerns from customers.
Duties will include:
- Overseeing training, scheduling & evaluation of swim instructor candidates
- Managing lesson bookings, rescheduling, cancellations & refunds through the Wix site
- Providing excellent customer service with timely, solution-based response
- Pursuing degree in business management, business administration, or other related fields
- Experience with scheduling software
- Experience with customer service
- Detail-oriented with developed organizational practices
Area managers are responsible for overseeing operations, maintenance, staffing, and employee training at a group of pool facilities while building strong rapport with pool managers and property contacts. Area Supervisors are responsible for training and supporting pool managers, communicating with regional managers, and relaying staffing, facility, and training updates in a timely manner. Area managers are required to hold valid certifications for Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
The regional operations intern will be responsible for assisting the regional operations director in daily operations management, client communication & employee performance.
Duties will include:
- Completing 7-10 site visits & inspections daily
- Coordinating regional needs with other department heads
- Assisting in pump room maintenance/repairs
- Attending in on weekly regional meetings
- Pursuing degree in business, business management, recreation, or other related field
- Experience with pool maintenance and pump room operations
- Experience with customer service or client relations
- Supervisory/Management experience preferred
- Previous employment with AquaTech
